Software, infrastructure, and the control systems in between.

We build platforms, servers and integrations for people who need the thing to work on the day nobody is looking at it — and who would rather be told the truth about what is finished than be told what they want to hear.

What we do

Platform development

Web applications and the services behind them — authentication, permissions, billing, admin surfaces, the parts nobody demos and everybody depends on. Built to be handed over, not to be re-explained every time somebody new opens it.

Server builds and infrastructure

Specifying, building and running the machines underneath — storage, virtualisation, containers, backups that have actually been restored from. Sized for the workload in front of us rather than for a diagram.

IT consultation

Working out what a system should be before anybody buys hardware or commits to a vendor, and saying plainly when the answer is to change less than you expected.

Control4 driver development

DriverWorks drivers for dealers and integrators, with licensing, beta and stable release channels, and support that has the controller's context already attached.

How we work

Three things that show up in everything we build, including this platform.

Done means checked

A feature is finished when it has been run against a real system and the result written down — not when it compiles. We would rather tell you something is not built yet than let a gap hide behind a confident paragraph.

Decisions get written down

The reasoning behind a choice is part of what you are paying for. When we pick an approach, the alternatives we rejected and why are recorded alongside it, so nobody has to reverse-engineer the intent later.

Built to be left alone

The measure of a system is how it behaves on the day nobody is watching it. Bounded queries, credentials that can be rotated, failures that say what happened — the unglamorous things that decide whether a Tuesday is quiet.

For Control4 dealers

Drivers, licences and support in one place.

Register controllers, assign licences, pull beta or stable releases, and raise a ticket that already knows which controller you are talking about. Authorised Control4 dealers can apply for an account.
